I am a helper, support, and partner at heart. As I contemplated what to do for a career, I wanted to find a way to help others in a professional context. I'd spent my teen years helping with basic QuickBooks tasks for my dad's 2 businesses that were run out of our garage, and saw how much his CPA alleviated back-office burdens for him. I wanted to provide that for other small businesses, and that's why I pursued a career in accounting.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration: Accounting from Thomas Edison State College and started my career in accounting. In 2014 I successfully obtained my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Later, I also obtained my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a Finance focus from Lousiana State University. Throughout my career, I have focused on learning the ins-and-outs of small businesses and non-profits.
It is my great honor to utilize this background to help the small businesses that make our communities thrive. I am not just an accountant, but a small business strategist who comes alongside my clients to help them reach their goals.
